Revlon has unveiled its second Love is On Million Dollar Challenge, which is the brand’s annual women’s health crowd-funding competition. The campaign aims to generate donations for charities dedicated to women’s issues as well as empower organisations to continue making a difference.

After experiencing the impact of last year’s installation, the cosmetics juggernaut has expanded the effort to cover even more women’s health-related causes. Leading the movement is Revlon global brand ambassador, Olivia Wilde, who is supporting the push with an earnest call-to-cation message.

A key aspect of her involvement revolves around encouraging the public to donate to their favourite charities. The online fundraising exercise has gone live and will run through 26 October. Supports of the initiative will be able to make their contributions via the campaign’s dedicated microsite.

Fans are encouraged to join the conversation using the #RevlonMillion hashtag. Meanwhile, the winner of the challenge is expected to be announced in November by the marque’s global brand ambassadors. The competition will award the five charities that raise the most funds in six weeks.

The over 100 non-profits participating in the contest are involved with causes around breast cancer, cardiac health, neurological disorders, autoimmune diseases, and diabetes, to name a few. With multiple incentives up for grabs, said charities will rally support through the power of community.

“For more than two decades, we have championed the progress of women. The Love is On philanthropic platform allows us to leverage our brand, community, and resources to make a positive impact on many of the leading health issues facing women today, said Fabian Garcia, CEO of Revlon.
