The appointment of Steven Warren prepares Mapp Digital for next phase of business growth

Mapp Digital, a global independent marketing technology company, announced the appointment of Steve Warren as its new CEO. Warren is assuming this position from his role as Chief Revenue Officer in the company.

“Mapp is at the forefront of ensuring brand marketing is engaging, personalised and real-time. The Mapp technology proves marketers are living in the past if they don’t see the possibilities of real-time cross-channel marketing – we’re proud of Steve for taking on the new role, and for preparing us for the next phase of growth,” said Nathan Pingleton, Principal at Marlin Equity Partners, the primary investor in the company.

“I’m delighted to be with Mapp at such an exciting period in the company’s history, and I look forward to building on the tremendous work the team has done until now. I’m passionate about helping organisations provide customers with the tools to grow their business, and I expect the team to put our customers first, ensuring their success can drive greater customer engagement,” said Steve Warren, CEO of Mapp Digital.

Prior to his appointment, Steve Warren was CRO at the company. As CRO, Steve was responsible for managing and overseeing all of the company’s customer relationships, while growing use of the company’s Customer Engagement Platform, integrated Data Management Platform (DMP) and Customer Centric Services, across the globe.

Prior to joining the company, Steve was Teradata’s Chief Customer Officer, responsible for managing global services and the company’s entire customer lifecycle. Steve led the launch of Teradata’s digital marketing business in the US in 2012. Steve has over 20 years of sales management experience. He also spent nine years with Fifth Gear (formerly Sigma Micro) in various executive positions, and was instrumental to the growth of that business.
