Kraft Heinz and Oprah Winfrey have launched a new line of soups and sides at select grocery stores, which goes nationwide in October 2017.

Kraft Heinz and Oprah Winfrey have introduced a collaborative line of four soups and savoury sides called O, That’s Good! The launch marks the first product roll-out from Mealtime Stories, which is a recently formed joint venture between the consumer goods giant and media icon.

The pair worked with a team of chefs to develop the new portfolio of refrigerated goods using real ingredients and zero artificial flavours or dyes. Targeting families, the offering provides an assortment of comfort foods, of which the key highlight is the brand’s unexpected nutritious twists.

“I love healthy foods and eating from my garden. When approached for a food line, what got my attention is making nutritious comfort foods more accessible to everyone. This product line is real, delicious food with a twist. You will feel good about serving it for your family,” said Winfrey.

Ten percent of the venture’s profits will be equally split between two charitable organisations namely Rise Against Hunger and Feeding America. Kraft Heinz’s foundation will make annual donations on behalf of Mealtime Stories to each until the joint venture becomes profitable.

“We are thrilled to bring our collective vision to life with O, That’s Good! With Oprah’s partnership, we’re delivering unbeatable taste and quality that is sure to please,” said Nina Barton, SVP of Marketing, Innovation and Research & Development for Kraft Heinz in the USA.

Now available at select grocery stores, the line will hit shelves across the US in October.
