Money raised in Hublot charity event to support those affected by torrential rains and flooding in Western Japan earlier this month

Swiss luxury watchmaker, Hublot, hosted a charity event together with Japan national team footballer, Takashi Inui, who plays for Spanish Club Real Betis, and Yuya Osako, who plays for German Club Werder Bremen. Children from the Tokyo metropolitan area took part in this event and participated in a short football game and kick target challenge.

At first, children were divided into two teams, team Osako and team Inui, and played a small game with the football star players. The winning team got a chance to challenge a kick target and aimed at targets of various sizes labelled with different monetary values.

Children won 600,000 yen/£4,110, and Inui and Osako hit the rest of the targets and won 1,100,000 yen/£7,535. The total of 1,700,000 yen/£11,645 will be donated to support those affected by torrential rains and flooding in Western Japan earlier this month through Japan National Football Association.

Yuya Osako and Takashi Inui, Friends of the Brand, shared: “I really enjoyed this event and spending time with the cheerful children. We would like to continue charity activities in the future.”
