Hotel Okura has unveiled its expansion plans for Asia, with the opening of The Okura Prestige Taichung slated for Taiwan in 2021.
Hotel Okura has revealed its plans to open The Okura Prestige Taichung in 2021, a project that entails a partnership with Goldman International. Featuring 250 rooms, the Taiwan-based luxury property is the third member hotel to fall under the Okura Nikko banner.
The location will be situated within a new business and commercial centre, while close to cultural attractions like the National Taichung Theatre. Japanese and Chinese restaurants, a panoramic sky lounge bar, gymnasium, spa, and an outdoor pool will be part of its allure.
“The plan to open this new hotel reflects our strategy to expand the business, particularly in Asia, where rapid market growth is taking place. The launch will play a key role in maximising our brand recognition in Taiwan,” said Toshihiro Ogita, President of Hotel Okura.
