Due to popular demand, Burger King has made a Cheesy Tots comeback in time for the holiday season to reward its brand loyalists.

Burger King is bringing back fan-favourite, Cheesy Tots, to participating restaurants in the United States for a limited period. The promotional bite-size treat offers a combination of warm potatoes and melted cheese on the inside, with a crispy exterior to seal the deal.

According to the fast food chain, the returning seasonal classic is an example of how the brand listens to its avid social media followers to make key menu decisions. In 2014, its Chicken Fries summer special made a comeback before joining the line-up as a permanent item.

“Fans have been demanding the return of Cheesy Tots for some time, so we wanted to offer loyalists a surprise after so many requests. They can now warm up to our cosy cheese-and-potato bites this holiday season,” said Alex Macedo, President, North America at Burger King.

The product will be available on the lunch and dinner menu, and sells for a special price with an 8-piece order. Cheesy Tots is a trademark of H.J. Heinz Company and is used with permission.
