British Airways has added two ski routes to its Heathrow network, with flights to Grenoble and the Italian slopes via Turin for under £40.

British Airways is launching two ski routes for winter and flights available from Heathrow for under £40. Flights to Grenoble will depart on Saturdays from 2 December, with fares starting from £39 each way. Skiers will also be able to reach the Italian slopes via Turin from £40 each way.

The airline already operates winter flights from Gatwick to the Italian and French ski hubs; the new routes increase weekly flights to the two cities (up to 18). Other ultra-low fares include Tallinn (£32), Amsterdam (£37), Milan (£38), and Billund (£37), which has a ‘kids fly free’ offer.

The expansion also includes added flights to key European resorts. Weekly flights to Salzburg will double to four, alongside two more weekly services to Innsbruck. Frequency to Reykjavik now entails two daily direct flights. Sofia and Zurich will both see an additional service per week.

British Airways has also introduced direct flights from Gatwick to Oakland, which is one of the closest airports to Lake Tahoe’s slopes. Meanwhile, the carrier has re-timed flights to Calgary specifically to help customers meet public transport connections to the biggest ski resorts.

“Turin and Grenoble are within easy reach of some of the world’s top ski resorts; we’re excited to add them to the Heathrow network. Our ultra-low fares offer a round-trip to some of the coolest destinations in Europe,” said Adam Daniels, Chief Commercial Officer at British Airways.

British Airways is a three-time winner of the World Branding Awards in the Airline category.
