Kitchen appliance giant, Breville, has launched an espresso machine called the Oracle Touch, which features touchscreen automation.
Breville has introduced the Oracle Touch, an espresso machine that brews café quality coffee and allows users to pick their beverage via a touchscreen. With intuitive automation embedded into its technology, the new variant affords the luxury of barista-level efficiency at the push of a button.
The user-friendly system provides everyday drinkers and connoisseurs alike the convenience of exactness from the comfort of home. Similar to a commercial make, the model simplifies the coffee-making experience by delivering on the four key elements required by the production process.
They are dose amount (flavour), water temperature control (extraction), water pressure (9-bar), and steam pressure (micro-foam; milk texture). The machine grinds, doses, and tamps coffee, and pre-infuses and extracts espresso at a 9-bar pressure using water heated to a precise temperature.
The steps above are followed by the automatic steaming and texturing of milk to concoct a number of drinks as well as produce silky micro-foam to create latte art. Upon the completion of each beverage, the steam wand attached to the Oracle Touch cleanses itself—a crucial step in maintenance.
Alongside a menu that includes classics like the espresso, Americano, latte, flat white, and cappuccino, customisation based on individual taste preferences is enabled.
