AWE Alive We’re Empowered was founded in 2016 by three time cancer survivor Jill Johnson who set out to design a new collection that could empower and unite a larger community. Leveraging thirty years as a sought after importer, manufacturer and wholesaler to the jewellery trade, Jill designed the distinctive AWE medallion to serve as a universal symbol of strength, hope and resilience.
The four droplets forming the centre of the AWE medallion represent the elements of survival blood, sweat, tears of sorrow and tears of joy.
