Hilton and Netflix have partnered to enhance the guest experience by providing them with streaming access to their favourite programmes.

Hilton and Netflix have teamed up to further personalise the travel experience by allowing guests to stream their favourite series, movies, and more on the televisions in the brand’s Connected Rooms. The offering aims to provide travellers with a sense of home while away.

With the entry of personally preferred programming, the alliance adds to the convenience of being able to control temperature and lighting via mobile or remote control. Patrons can access Netflix with their credentials via the remote control or keyboard on the Honors app.

Those who prefer the Hilton app can download it, then add Netflix and other streaming or television channels to their list of ‘favourites’ for easy access. Guests who like the remote control option can press ‘Netflix’ to power up their screen and log into their accounts.

Visitors without an account can sign up on the spot and start watching immediately. Netflix members can pick up where they left off before checking in. The platform ensures access information stays secure and clears automatically at checkout or sooner via the television.

Hilton has more than 1,800 Connected Rooms, and plans to roll out the technology across tens of thousands more this year within its United States locations and beyond. Customers can expect more content and other features from the brand via its Connected Rooms.
