The location adds to the Wyndham Grand portfolio, and joins markets such as Shanghai, Istanbul, Doha, Salzburg, Chicago, and Orlando.

Wyndham Hotel Group has expanded its luxury hospitality footprint to Greece with the introduction of Wyndham Grand Athens, the first property by the brand in said market. The upcoming location is slated to open its doors right in the city centre early next year.

With the project currently underway, the marque is dedicated to offering its guests unforgettable travel experiences. A signature feature of the setup is prepared to reveal a venue marked by approachable design, pristine guestrooms, relaxing spas, and unique dining experiences.

The aforementioned destination will be situated in Karaiskaki Place where Zeus International, a network which operates nine hotels across Eastern Europe. The company is transforming the building which was once owned by VIOHALCO, and housed the Hotel Athens Imperial.

The spot is expected to offer 273 rooms, expansive conference spaces, a restaurant, bar, spa, and roof garden with a pool and a 360° view of the city skyline. The hotel’s proximity to the Metro and various cultural points of interest will hold appeal for business and leisure travellers.

Meanwhile, each one of the group’s Grand-branded hotels in the region participate in Wyndham Rewards, a speciality loyalty programme which affords members a generous points earning structure alongside a flat and free-night redemption rate in 73 countries across the globe.
