The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa Katameya Dunes debuts to offer luxury travellers a getaway anchored by a 27-hole golf course.

The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa Katameya Dunes has opened in Egypt, affording luxury travellers a getaway anchored by a 27-hole championship golf course designed by Nick Faldo and Brian Curley. The 135-room property is complemented by the brand’s signature wellness initiatives.

From verdant fairways to meandering lagoons, the guestrooms and suites provide views of the lush landscape. Meanwhile, an art installation of white doves suspended from the lobby ceiling takes centre stage, while illustrative of the swanky resort’s decadent design and opulent atmosphere.

The destination’s dining options include a pool bar, golf club bar, Mediterranean restaurant with an open kitchen called Paloma, and the nature-inspired eatery, Vertical Garden, which brings the outside in as well as affords an eclectic fusion of gastronomic highlights and choice beverages.

Additionally, its 3,000 square meter Heavenly Spa by Westin boasts 10 therapy rooms, two couple suites as well as bespoke facilities which include a steam room, rain showers, and a sauna. Said amenities are designed to both rejuvenate the body and enrich the mind to ensure a relaxing stay.

“The global demand for wellness continues to propel our growth momentum worldwide, including our debut in new markets like Doha, Dubai, and our presence in destinations like Spain, Germany, and now Egypt,” said Brian Povinelli, Global Brand Leader at Westin Hotels & Resorts.
