Global footwear giant, Stuart Weitzman, has appointed Gigi Hadid as the face of brand’s Fall 2016 advertising campaign which is set on channelling strength and motion. Additionally, renowned fashion photographer, Mario Testino, has been assigned to the shoot for a tenth season.
The black-and-white advertisements were delivered in manner which embraces a distinctively minimalist aesthetic. Inspired by the model’s real-life workout regimen, the creative push was executed to expertly capture the dynamic addition of movement and a decidedly editorial approach.
From boxing to jumping to athletic moves, the beauty of a strong, confident, and independent woman unfolds with each kick and punch—so as to depict power, agility, grace, and vigorous energy. For the luxury marque, ‘sexy’ is seen as the equivalent of being comfortable in one’s own skin.
With the in mind, the campaign captures said essence in an effortlessly chic way, while clearly showcasing the new season’s essential silhouettes. The international roll-out is slated to launch in key markets such as the United States, Italy, France, England, Dubai, Germany, Spain, and Asia.
