The premiere of the brand’s latest addition follows the recent roll-out of a new television commercial starring actor, Patrick Stewart

Strongbow has unveiled its latest flavour called Strongbow Cherry Blossom. In conjunction with the launch, the beverage giant will host fans at the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC, where its guests will be among the first to sample the new hard cider addition.

The brand is set to sponsor several corresponding events including its formal debut at the Pink Tie Party before continuing on with the Southwest Waterfront Fireworks. The fresh premiere follows the recent roll-out of a new television commercial starring actor, Patrick Stewart.

The second iteration of the aforementioned national campaign aims to highlight the marque’s extensive beverage range. In line with the above exercise, the Cherry Blossom entrant is expected to first present in a six-pack, as part of the overall push which begins on 28 March 2016.

Slated for launch in a six-pack, the product replaces the Red Berries variant from the Variety Pack. The new release will feature alongside the brand’s Gold Apple, Honey, and Ginger offerings from June onwards. Also, it is positioned to compete in April’s World Cider Championships.

“We are known for our heritage and commitment to providing legendary liquids. Our consumers are curious and always looking for new and exciting flavours. Strongbow Cherry Blossom is a reflection of our relentless commitment to product innovation,” said Nuno Teles, Chief Marketing Officer at Heineken USA.
