Situated on the Vistula River bank, it joins 25 other Sheraton Grand properties worldwide as the first from its collection to enter Poland.

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has changed the name of Sheraton Krakow Hotel, with the re-branded location now called Sheraton Grand Krakow. Along with decision, the hospitality chain has added the line to its new premier tier of hotels recognised for their excellence in service and guest experiences.

Joining 25 other Sheraton Grand properties worldwide, the brand is the first from its collection to enter Poland. The destination is situated on the bank of Vistula River, near the famous Wawel Castle. The hotel is undergoing a major restoration, for which works are slated to conclude in early 2017.

The location is one of the initiatives currently underway for Sheraton 2020, a comprehensive plan designed to solidify the group as a hotel brand of choice globally. It features refurbished meeting facilities ideal for social gatherings and galas as well as four restaurants and bars including the Roof Top Terrace Bar & Lounge.

Boasting spectacular views, Sheraton Grand Krakow offers 232 rooms and suites. All premium rooms have been remodelled to include a residential design flexible for work and play. London-based designer, Alex Kravetz, has created elegant spaces using high quality materials and custom-designed furniture.

Various textures and furnishings were composed to deliver sophisticated layered detailing across all elements. The sense of heritage is expressed through patterns and uniquely commissioned local art pieces. Lighting was key to creating several atmosphere possibilities depending on the time of day.

“We are thrilled to build on our heritage in East and Central Europe. The Sheraton Grand Krakow highlights our commitment to the Polish market where we already have six successful hotels and plan to further grow our portfolio,” said Michael Wale, President, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East.
