PetSmart has announced the launch of its latest New York retail store location which spans over 20,000 square feet and is on Staten Island.
PetSmart is launching a store at 1525 Forest Avenue on Staten Island. The opening takes place on 16 March and kicks off with an official ceremony. The New York location, occupying more than 20,000 square feet of space, will make available a Pinnacle Pet Nutrition section.
The key highlights entail an expanded collection of products spanning high-protein, natural, grain-free, minimally processed, and raw pet food. The offering is the fastest growing in the pet food category and includes Only Natural Pet, a brand featuring paleo-inspired options.
Made using holistic recipes, the selections comprise dehydrated, freeze-dried, and air-dried goods. PetSmart is the exclusive retailer for Only Natural Pet in the United States. The first 25 shoppers will receive a mystery gift card and all others walk away with free giveaways.
These include t-shirts, pet treat samples, pet toys, and discount coupons. The venue boasts a comprehensive line of merchandise and services around pet training and adoption. It also has a full-service grooming spa where certified stylists offer cats and dogs hands-on care.
PetSmart and its charities are inviting over 3,500 animal welfare organisations to bring pets and rescues to its stores to help them find forever homes. Through the in-store programme and other signature events, the brand has facilitated over eight million pet adoptions.
