The Luxury Collection is expanding its brand presence across Europe with two London locations and three in Paris, Cortina, and Yerevan.

The Luxury Collection, under Marriott International, will introduce five new flagship properties. The additions to the portfolio will further solidify the brand’s presence in Europe, with 2017 set to be a milestone year for the hospitality marque. Two of the locations are situated in London.

Featuring 36 guestrooms and suites and panoramic views, The Wellesley is an intimate getaway converted from a decadent 1920s townhouse, while ideally located in Knightsbridge, where it overlooks Hyde Park and is steps away from London’s finest boutiques and acclaimed restaurants.

Meanwhile, The Westbury positioned in fashionable Mayfair, is currently undergoing a major makeover by Alex Kravetz Designs. The London locale is celebrated for its shopping experiences and historic British architecture. The destination will deliver 225 elegant guestrooms and 43 suites.

Located in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris, just steps from the Champs Elysées, Hôtel de Berri is set to become one of the French city’s most fashionable hotels. The former office building is presently undergoing an extensive transformation to present a 76-room modernist luxury hotel.

Set in the Dolomites mountain range in Italy, Cristallo Resort & Spa was built in 1901. The resort is located in the North-eastern Alps, in the spectacular surroundings of Cortina. With 74 rooms and nine suites, the bespoke hideout offers mountains views and stunning vistas around the town.

The first Armenian hotel to open as part of The Luxury Collection in autumn of 2017, The Alexander is located in one of the most prestigious addresses in the capital city. Boasting 114 guestrooms and 17 suites, the hotel will be set in the historic heart of Yerevan, close to the Republic Square.

“Europe offers tremendous potential. We are committed to increasing our footprint with the finest luxury hotels over the next few years. Our goal is to open 12 globally by next year. With the five additions, we are well on track,” said Mitzi Gaskins, Global Brand Leader of The Luxury Collection.
