Newly opened by the group, the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton is located at 19 Northbridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1SD, United Kingdom.

The Hilton Edinburgh Carlton has launched, marking the group’s sixteenth property in Scotland and eighth hotel in the country. The more than four million tourists visiting Edinburgh yearly can now enjoy the marque’s brand of hospitality in the heart of the city centre.

The destination showcases rich history and is within walking distance from various attractions—from the famous Royal Mile to the St. Giles’ Cathedral. The hotel is owned and operated by Amaris Hospitality and is part of 73-hotel portfolio across the UK and Ireland.

“We are delighted to be extending our footprint in Scotland and to welcome guests from all over the world, especially with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival taking place this month, attracting thousands of visitors,” Andreas Lackner, VP, Area Brand Management at Hilton Worldwide.

The getaway offers 211 guest rooms including junior suites and executive rooms—designed with comfort and convenience in mind to provide a place to relax and unwind or to catch up on work. All rooms are equipped with a desk, 40-inch TV, and modern bathroom.

Guests staying in executive rooms enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks in the hotel’s Executive Lounge. The destination boasts a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill, offering local produce along with signature dishes and drinks for guests to sample.

No more than 10 miles from the local airport while a short distance from many attractions, the hotel is situated within close proximity of luxury boutiques, restaurants and bars. It is a half-mile from Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street, with numerous other UK businesses set up nearby.

Hilton was a winner at the 2014-2015 World Branding Awards under the Hotels (Global) category.
