The brand secures landmark property in New York City with the introduction of the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza.

Joining the Hilton network as its seventh local property, ONE UN New York will re-emerge as Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza on 30 August. Situated alongside the United Nations headquarters, the hotel caters to leisure and business travellers as well as esteemed diplomats and leaders.

Having seen a $68 million makeover since 2012, the establishment is now poised to welcome visitors from across the globe. Preserving the architecture of the original Kevin Roche designed building, 439 guestrooms and suites were upgraded along with the venue’s event spaces, public areas, and restaurant.

Meanwhile, the premium location affords panoramic views across the Manhattan skyline on one side and sweeping vistas of the East River on the other. Nearby attractions include the Grand Central Terminal, Empire State Building, Fifth Avenue, Times Square as well as the Broadway Theatre district.

“The addition of Millennium New York One UN Plaza brings our signature hospitality to the east side of Manhattan, and we look forward to providing exceptional guest experiences true to the brand,” said David Marr, Senior Vice President and Global Head, Full Service Brands at Hilton.

Hilton was a global winner of the 2014-2015 World Branding Awards in the Hotels category.
