The Crystal Bach soon launching via Crystal River Cruises will serve cuisine crafted by expert European chefs, while inspired by the region.
Crystal River Cruises has revealed the culinary highlights of the Crystal Bach, a new release debuting in August. Set to sail along the Rhine, Danube, and Main Rivers, the all-suite vessel will feature cuisine inspired by the region, crafted by expert European chefs, and designed in tandem with the river yacht’s itineraries.
Guests will enjoy fresh seafood from Holland, seasonal fruits and vegetables from Germany and the Netherlands, meat and poultry from Bavaria and the Austrian Alps, and region-specific wine, beer, and cheese. Delicacies that are uniquely European will be included on the menu, such as sturgeon caviar from Eindhoven.
Crystal chefs will recreate age-old favourites so classics exude a modern twist. Farm to table, Michelin-inspired options will encompass elegant encounters at the Waterside Restaurant, the Bistro Café for relaxation, and the exclusive Vintage Room—all of which will provoke a true journey through cultural discovery.
Meanwhile, a premium selection of coffees and teas by Julius Meinl, a Viennese company specialised in the crafting of beverages since 1962, can be expected aboard the Crystal Bach. In addition, a dedicated collection of vegetarian specialities promises the same authentic approach delivered throughout the overall menu.
Also, travellers can partake in Michelin-rated restaurant moments at select destinations. Each itinerary provides at least one opportunity to explore the signature fare served at renowned eateries ashore. The deal entails all-balcony suites across every category of accommodation perched above the waterline.
The getaway comes complete with high-end butler service with any room, plush king-sized beds facing a chamber’s Panoramic Balcony-Windows, walk-in closets, dual vanity in the bathrooms across most categories, ETRO robes and slippers, wall-mounted flat-screen high-definition televisions, and Nespresso machines.
