Cole Haan unveils GrandEvølution, GrandMøtion, and StudiøGrand collections via a campaign collaboration with New York City Ballet.

Cole Haan has engaged artistes from New York City Ballet for its Extraordinary Comes to Life campaign. Lensed by motion photographer, Andrew Eccles, the lifestyle retailer’s latest push introduces the marque’s GrandEvølution, GrandMøtion as well as StudiøGrand collections.

Capturing the movements of the dancers using an open-shutter technique, the effort welcomes resident choreographer and soloist, Justin Peck, alongside principal dancer, Amar Ramasar, to a roster which includes long-time collaborators, Sara Mearns, Megan Fairchild, and Gretchen Smith.

For every campaign image, Peck orchestrated a full movement, expressing each dancer’s professional identity, while pulling from the language of his own recent choreography. The partnership emphasises the commitment Cole Haan has to designing innovative footwear and accessories.

Ideal for running from street to studio, the GrandMøtion range for men and StudiøGrand line for women are designed to support an active and multifaceted lifestyle. Meanwhile, the reinvented GrandEvølution collection integrates both performance and tradition to provide comfort and style.

“These dancers are all about grit, grace, elegance, and the unity of athleticism. We built these collections to move our customers throughout a packed day on their feet, in the world, and on the job,” said David Maddocks, General Manager of Business Development and CMO for Cole Haan.
