The mini bottles from Coca-Cola Canada are now available nationwide at grocery and convenience stores and also some food service outlets.

Coca-Cola Canada has introduced a mini package size for its Coke, Zero Sugar, Diet, and Sprite offerings. Each of the variants is now available is a more compact and resealable 250-ml bottle. The brand will launch also more than 20 new beverages across its portfolio.

The move kicks off a year of innovation which spans multiple categories to include low- and no-calorie products, bold flavours, and soda water beverages. Meanwhile, the mini bottle is the first of its kind in North America, and will be sold solo and in eight-packs countrywide.

Its FreshSafe coating increases shelf life by four months. Coca-Cola Canada Bottling has invested $20 million to upgrade production line capabilities at the Brampton plant to back production. This will create new jobs and the potential to develop other smaller packages.

“The mini bottle is one of the most exciting innovations we have seen in a long time. People want more drink options. This is just one way that we are meeting that desire, and it’s not just smaller package sizes,” said Darlene Nicosia, President of Coca-Cola Limited.

Coca-Cola was a global winner of the 2016-2017 World Branding Awards in the Beverages – Soft Drinks category.
