Mexican savoury beer offering, Sol Chelada, has made its way into the United States and will be made available to consumers via MillerCoors.

Mexican beer producer, Sol, will introduce its newest release in the United States this month. Made using tomato, lime, spices, and other natural flavours, the ready-to-drink beverage arrives a year after the label was relaunched in America under MillerCoors.

Crafted by the same brew masters behind the top-selling beer offering from south of the border, Sol Chelada will be available in 24-ounce cans at most grocery, convenience, and liquor stores nationwide. The product offers beer drinkers a 3.5 percent alcohol by volume.

The launch spans out-of-home, digital, and social media advertising. Said campaign will also comprise public relations executions, influencer programming, and online video. The company was founded in the heart of Mexico during 1899, which is a 120 years ago.

“Beer drinkers have been asking us to bring Sol Chelada to the United States for quite some time. We are proud to introduce a convenient, savoury, and refreshing mix that fans and new drinkers can enjoy,” said Danielle Rappoport, Marketing Director of MillerCoors.
