In conjunction with the holiday season, Krispy Kreme is treating fans to its Gingerbread Glazed Doughnuts from now until the eve of Christmas.

Krispy Kreme has created a campaign to urge Americans to satisfy their holiday appetite with glazed goodness rather than pastry-inspired people. From 19 December to Christmas eve, the brand will offer its Gingerbread Glazed Doughnut as a replacement to spread joy.

Made using a spiced dough and covered in molasses glaze while sprinkled with hints of cinnamon, they add a quirky twist to a classic craving using a festive spin. For a comical touch, the gingerbread-flavoured treat is grabbing the spotlight by going into hero mode.

The limited-edition entry is available at participating stores nationwide. For more details on where and how to join the gingerbread conversation, fans can visit the brand’s website and social media channels. Followers can add to the fun on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

“The destruction of gingerbread culture and habitats—gingerbread houses included—must stop. There is no reason to consume gingerbread people when you can eat our delicious Gingerbread Glazed Doughnuts instead,” said Dave Skena, CMO of Krispy Kreme.
