Huawei-owned smartphone brand, Honor, has created a push for India in line with the upcoming Diwali festivities to celebrate human bonds.

Honor has launched a campaign in conjunction with the holiday season. Themed #YehDiwaliHonorWali, the exercise features a series of films reminding people to restore the bond once shared with loved ones. The Huawei-owned brand is using the festival of lights to reignite unions gone dark.

Tethered to an emotional narrative surrounding familial togetherness, the light-hearted push has the aim to break down barriers to encourage honest communication and human connection. Developed for India, the creatives work to extend a powerful message.

Seeking to tug at the heartstrings as well as inspire, Honor has shaped the initiative to unite people across all ages and reinforce its position as a consumer brand founded on cohesion and inclusion. The overall concept communicates its dedication to changing the status quo and provoking action.

“Through this campaign, we want to highlight the uniqueness and importance of the relationships that we tend to have forgotten in our monotonous lives. Diwali is about oneness of family, friends, celebrations, and traditions. Honor is a brand for the brave,” said Suhail Tariq, CMO of Huawei India.

The series was produced by Motivator under GroupM Media India, in association with Shashi Sumeet Productions. View the spots here:
