British Airways has teamed up with Californian actress and Made in Chelsea star, Stephanie Pratt, to promote its new route to Oakland.

British Airways has partnered with Made in Chelsea star, Stephanie Pratt, to celebrate its new route to Oakland, San Francisco Bay. The American actress recently did a photo shoot to mark the brand’s inaugural route from Gatwick to California and its fifth service from London to the ‘golden state’.

The television personality teamed a rose gold dress from her Goddiva clothing line with Christian Louboutin court shoes, and a navy dress from her collection with navy sandals from Alexandre Birman. Meanwhile, the route begins 28 March with flights launching from £210 each way based on a return fare.

Perfectly placed in North California, Oakland also makes a good starting point for road trips, with San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, and Los Angeles all within easy reach for fly-drive enthusiasts. British Airways offers multi-destination bookings, allowing customers to fly in and out of different airports.

“Oakland is super edgy. It’s like the Californian equivalent of Brooklyn as there are just so many quirky shops, cool bars, and restaurants. Also, the destination is less than a 20-minute car ride from San Francisco and is the perfect place to start a road trip to Napa Valley, Yosemite or Lake Tahoe,” said Pratt.

British Airways is a three-time winner of the World Branding Awards in the Airline category.
