The independent Scottish brewers, Brewdog have announced they will be making the move into hospitality in the Europe by opening a range of mini hotels named Brewdog Kennels.

The craft beer makers already own a large hotel complex in the US, dubbed ‘the happiest place on earth’, a 42-acre site in Ohio with beer production facilities, museum and pub.

The new hotels this side of the pond however will be on a smaller scale, in city-centre locations such as London, Paris, Manchester and Berlin.

The first of its hotels will open in its home town of Aberdeen with rooms available from £75 per night. The rooms will be celebrating the Brewdog logo and will have mini fridges stocked with the craft beers. There will even be mini fridges filled with craft beer in the bathroom should guests fancy a tipple whilst showering.

The hotels will, of course, be dog friendly with dog treats and dog beds available to guests.

BrewDog Captain and co-founder, James Watt, commented: “We firmly believe that where you stay in a new city should be your home from home, so have brought the spirit of our DogHouse Hotel and its reverence for great beer to a new series of mini-hotels.

“And what better start for the BrewDog Kennels than our home city? Aberdeen is an incredible place for craft beer so we have upped the ante with our own take on accommodation. To paraphrase the song; you can check out but you may never want to leave.”
