Fashion retailer, Banana Republic, has unveiled its Men’s Style Council featuring Matt Ryan, Didi Gregorius, CJ McCollum, and Kevin Love.

Banana Republic has partnered with 2016 NFL MVP, Matt Ryan; baseball shortstop, Didi Gregorius; and basketball guard, CJ McCollum. They join basketball star and brand ambassador, Kevin Love, to form the company’s first Men’s Style Council, and will be featured in a series of campaigns.

A specially-selected group of male athletes, the four have been tasked with showcasing the marque’s performance-driven menswear collections via consumer engagement programmes and personal appearances. The Council’s first push will debut the Rapid Movement Chino men’s pants collection.

The new line will be sold at stores globally and online beginning this month. Designed for comfort and to resist stretch, each pair is crafted from soft cotton fabrics and fortified with a stain- and water-repelling finish. The collection is available in the Aiden, Emerson, Fulton, and new Tapered fits.

“Our customers admire the individual style of each player on and off the field and court. We are honoured to work with these celebrated athletes and extend their personal style through our men’s collections,” said Lexi Tawes, SVP of Global Merchandising & Digital at Banana Republic.
