The newly hired Jonathan Burley steps into said capacity from CHI & Partners where he previously led creative output for the past six years.

RKCR/Y&R has filled the senior position of Chief Creative Officer with the fresh appointment of Jonathan Burley (pictured), who joins the firm from CHI & Partners where he led creative output for the past six years. In the role, he will work across the full UK client base and spearhead creative vision.

With a proven track record in new business, he has delivered campaigns across a diverse spectrum that included businesses such as Samsung, British Gas, Argos, The Sunday Times, The Prince’s Trust, McDonald’s, TalkTalk, and Lexus. Mark Roalfe continues on as Chairman and will manage the brand’s global accounts.

Burley won one of the first Gold Creative Effectiveness Lions at Cannes for Trust, a McDonald’s campaign, and also created one of the Gunn Report’s most awarded ads, House of Cards, for Shelter. Most recently, he led the Lexus’ Hoverboard initiative spanning content, public relations, film, and product design.

Throughout an entirely illustrious career in the aforementioned field, his stand-out efforts have been consistently awarded at every major international awards show. They include Cannes, Clio, One Show, British Arrows, Eurobest, New York Festivals, Creative Circle, Campaign Big, and D&AD.

“With the creative legacy of RKCR/Y&R, it was important to find just the right person for our clients, our people, and to help shape our future.  Jonathan Burley fulfils these requirements and more.  He is enormously talented, and also someone who inspires and uplifts everyone around him,” said Tony Granger, Global CCO of Y&R.
