Richard Attias and Associates new leadership team will enable the firm to further expand its global footprint and implement even higher-impact initiatives and live events for its clients in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia
Richard Attias and Associates (RA&A) has reinforced its leadership team with the appointment of two key executives to newly created positions. Panos Tzivanidis, the former Director of Events for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), will serve as CEO while Maureen Mitchell, the former Director of Scheduling and Operations for the Office of House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, will serve as Chief of Staff. Richard Attias, who founded RA&A in 2009, will continue to serve as its Executive Chairman.
RA&A is a global advisory firm that develops communications strategies, conferences, and live public events for governments, corporations, and institutions including the Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Public Investment Fund, the Misk Foundation, the International Olympic Committee, and the World Bank. RA&A is a minority subsidiary of WPP, a global communications services group.

Prior to RA&A, Tzivianidis spent nearly 20 years overseeing operations, strategic planning, and production for many of the world’s largest events and institutions including the Olympic Games, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), and SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), where he oversaw Sibos, the world’s premier annual financial services conference.

Mitchell brings to RA&A more than two decades of management experience for offices such as Koch Industries, Giuliani Partners, Capitol Hill, and numerous state, local, and national political campaigns.
