Appointment heralds new chapter for digital agency

Resn Asia has announced the promotion of Ted Meng from General Manager China to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Asia. This promotion heralds a new chapter for the digital agency to better serve its agency partners and clients as it expands aggressively in China and Asia Pacific.

“China is fast becoming the most exciting place in the world for digital,” said Rik Campbell, CEO of Resn Global. “It won’t be long before it’s leading the game.” A strong presence in China is essential in Resn’s regional growth strategy and in its global search for next class solutions and design. Meng’s appointment is key for implementing that strategy and it marks Resn’s first top level executive position in Asia.

“Ted has been instrumental in establishing our China operations. His promotion ensures that we have a new generation of leaders who can offer our partners transformative digital solutions,” said Mr Campbell. Mr Meng has worked in the digital industry for ten years, leading high performing start ups in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. His network has delivered solutions across mobile, web, video, animation, gaming and installations for clients that include Huawei, China Tower, China Telecom and China Mobile.

“Having spent the last year setting up Resn Labs in Shenzhen, I know our user interface design and craft is truly best in class. We have amazing offerings to help our clients grow their businesses and brands. I am convinced that our industry is on the verge of a real revolution and that Resn will lead the charge. I’m thrilled to be a part of that,” said Meng.

Resn continues to search for top level talent to fill its senior leadership positions in preparation for its official launch in China later in the year. It was named Agency of the Year by Awwwards and CSS Design Awards in 2017.
