In line with its 2017 Anniversary Sale, Nordstrom has engaged Russell Wilson, Ashley Graham, Taye Diggs, and three others for a major push.

Nordstrom has created a marketing push around its 2017 Anniversary Sale debuting today in the United States and Canada. The brand has partnered with six artistes, style-makers, and designers. They will be brand ambassadors for the sale running from 21 July to 6 August.

The lineup includes entrepreneur, Super Bowl champion, and Franchise NFL quarterback, Russell Wilson; model and designer, Ashley Graham; actor, Taye Diggs; actress, Hana Mae Lee; dancer and choreographer, Keone Madrid; and artist and textile designer, Kindah Khalidy.

The company looked for a diverse group of individuals renowned in their fields, are passionate about what they do, and will appeal to customers. The sale originated in the 1960s and is its biggest annual event to feature merchandise for men, women, and kids at discounted prices.

The campaign spotlights special picks from the ambassadors across both the anniversary catalogue and online. Shot in-house, it includes videos posted to the speciality fashion retailer’s website and social media platforms as well as digital, print, outdoor, and in-store executions.
