The team will represent the International Advertising Association (IAA) from the first term beginning in 2016 and the second ending in 2018.
During its recent Board of Directors meeting, the International Advertising Association (IAA) moved to elect its new leadership for the coming two years. In conjunction with said assembly, the team in place will serve two annual terms which run from 2016 to 2018.
“The IAA, representing all areas of marketing communications—advertisers, agencies, media, and educators—is committed to inspire the industry and society. Everyone here is empowered to contribute in their own way. We look forward to harnessing the resources and energy of our members worldwide,” said Felix Tataru, Chairman and World President of IAA.
At 42, Tataru (pictured) is the youngest chairman to have been elected. Current industry issues for the association include the continued importance of best practices and integrity, the defense of unwarranted bans and interference with brands and the advertising, and the development of talent within our industry.
